The Cable Car offers an amazing indoor venue perfect for corporate functions, meetings, weddings, end-of-year parties and more. Treat your guests or colleagues to a special occasion with fantastic views over the city and harbour.

The indoor venue is located at the top of the Cable Car, at Kelburn Terminus. Please email us on info@wellingtoncablecar.co.nz to enquire about bookings.

KELBURN TERMINUS

The terminal was upgraded in 2014 to include an indoor viewing platform with a fully covered roof. The ceiling-to-floor windows offers guests stunning views of Wellington day or night. This venue is ideal for cocktail functions, weddings and other organised ceremonies. Please note that we do not offer sit-down or a la carte events.

Clients need to arrange their own catering, tables, chairs and sound system. The Cable Car can recommend a number of caterers to suit your needs

Access

Cable Cars: the cars are levelled with the platform for wheelchair access
