What's On Now

In honour of International Children's Day (Sunday, March 3rd), all children under the age of 15 can enjoy a complimentary ride on the Cable Car when accompanied with a paying adult.

Accompanying adult must either purchase a standard fare or be travelling on one of our multi-trip/membership cards. Adults travelling with a Gold Card or a multi-trip-membership card will need to approach the ticket box to receive the complimentary Child ticket.

To make the day even more special, face painting will be available free of charge in our Kelburn terminal between 11am-2pm.

The children's playground in the Botanic Gardens and at Frank Kitts Park will also be celebrating reopening on the day.

*Complimentary ticket only valid for use on Sunday 3 March. Only available at the Lambton Quay Ticket Box. Not available online. Discount cannot be combined with any other offer.

For our locals, we've implemented measures to ensure a smooth experience for all our passengers. Between 9am and 1pm, when demand is higher, our cars may operate more than our usual 10-minute timetable. To plan for your day, please click here to be taken to our cruise schedule that lists ships that have a capacity, or combined capacity of over 1,000 passengers.
