AMS

Our Annual Maintenance Shutdown will be from Monday 29 July - Sunday 4 August. We are scheduled to re-open on Monday 5 August from 7.30am.

Every year, we shut down the Cable Cars to inspect and replace the essentials to keep the cars running. Basically, it's the Cable Car getting its WOF.

We thank you for your patience as we carry out important maintenance. Text alerts will be sent with any necessary updates. To be added to this service, click here.

DR Who

Exploring the Whoniverse: A journey across time and space in the TARDIS-themed photo booth as part of the promotion of the Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder exhibition in Wellington.

As fans of Doctor Who already know, the TARDIS takes the form of a blue police box that can travel through time and space. Bigger on the inside than on the outside, thanks to dimensional engineering beyond human comprehension, this interactive photo booth experience is designed to delight Doctor Who fans.

With exciting backdrops to choose from, share your adventure on social media and even take a copy home, this is a must-visit for all Whovians and POP culture enthusiasts attending the exhibition.

The TARDIS-themed photo booth will land at the Cable Car between 6 - 27 July and will be open every day between 10.30am - 6pm.

The Doctor Who World of Wonder exhibition is now on at Tākina. Grab your tickets from here
