To avoid queuing at the ticket office, please purchase your tickets online before arrival. It is fast and convenient and allows you to access the Cable Car Terminal directly using the QR code tickets you will receive via email.
Eftpos, AMEX and Credit (Visa, Mastercard, Unionpay and Alipay) facilities available at Lambton Quay Terminal only.
For journeys not travelling through Lambton Quay, please pay the driver (cash only) or present your tickets.

Multi-trip Cards can only be used by the person to which they are issued. They are NOT valid for group travel.
All Multi-trip Cards must be registered. If you have not yet registered yours, please do so at the Cable Car Ticket Office on Lambton Quay.
Charges apply to replace lost or stolen cards. Damaged or faulty cards are replaced free of charge.
When loading new trips onto a Student Multi-trip Card, you must present your valid NZ Student ID.
Multi-trip Card trips are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. There are no refunds on partly used Multi-trip Cards.

Memberships are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase. Memberships are non-refundable.
During peak hours you will need to pay the full adult fare.
