Pipi, the Kororā/Little Blue Penguin from Te Nukuao Wellington Zoo, has woken up to a bit of an Easter emergency… her eggs have gone missing from her nest!
The Welly wind has been at it again… sweeping Pipi’s eggs along the hill of the Wellington Cable Car.
She’s called in the Easter Bunny for backup, and now they need a team of sharp-eyed little helpers (that’s you!) to track them down.
Hop your way to the Wellington Cable Car this Easter and join the hunt.
Here’s how it works:
- Pick up your egg hunt sheet from the ticket box
- Keep count of all the hidden eggs you can spot in the terminals and along the track from inside the cars
- Don’t forget to BYO pen!
- Hand in your best guess to our ticket-box
If you correctly spot the number of Pipi’s missing eggs, you’ll be rewarded with a small Easter treat (while stocks last).
Running from Good Friday (3 April) to Easter Monday (6 April).
Bring your whānau and your best egg-spotting skills to help Pipi bring her eggs safely home.
